Valentine’s weekend means just one thing. Nottinghamshire loves learning! Castle College’s Community Development team are supporting Nottinghamshire’s Big Learning Weekend through a number of activities. Art Attack at Nottingham Castle kicks off the celebrations on Saturday 13 February with a number of activities between 10:00am and 2:30pm. Also on Saturday you can enjoy digital photography and music at the Pearson Centre in Beeston between 10:00am and 1:00pm. On Sunday 14 February, you can treat yourself to a Valentine Makeover at Nudu Hair on Valley Drive in Newthorpe who are running a number of hair care workshops between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. On Monday 15 February, there is an opportunity to jazz up your old clothes at a Rags to Riches Evening Workshop at Kathleen and Lily’s Vintage Clothing on Mansfield Road. You can also have fun with fabrics at the Sherwood Workshop on Mansfield Road during the day. Finally, pop into the Stapleford Health Centre for the Healthy Living Fun Day between 10:30am and 1:00pm.
