If the answer is ‘yes’ to both these questions, then perhaps you should be considering a career in social housing. There are many different career paths available in the sector, including specialist support workers (for example with the elderly in a ‘sheltered’ housing setting), housing assistants, housing officers, specialist anti-social behaviour officers, housing development officers, homelessness officers, housing advice workers and allocations staff.

Our housing courses are fully validated by the Chartered Institute of Housing (the professional body for the sector), and combine the skills and knowledge relevant to those working in, or aspiring to work in, social housing.
