Automotive training at Castle College
Castle College's Automotive department supports the sector areas of light and heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, parts, paint and body and vehicle fitting operations serving a range of businesses within the retail and service motor industry. More recently the department has expanded into the Marine Engine sector.
Training is tailored to meet employers' needs and is delivered flexibly either on-site or at our Highfields Automotive and Engineering Centre. This centre is located on the Nottingham Science Park and provides a state of the art training centre for Automotive Technology programmes.
We provide training in the following areas:
- Hybrid Technologies
- Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Motorcycles
- Motorsport
- Auto-electrical & Security
- Marine Engine Technology
- Vehicle fitting operations
In addition to the above areas we offer Health & Safety training to support the working practices of the industry. Customer Service training is also a key area and programme content can be tailored to the Automotive retail group.
A range of Automotive Apprenticeships are also available.
