Awards Evening with an International Flavour

Awards_EveOver 130 international students studying at Castle College have been rewarded for their hard work over the past year.

Students from countries all over the world including China, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Latvia and Nigeria have travelled to Castle College to gain qualifications for their future career. Those who have completed International Foundation and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses were presented with their final awards by Vice Principal Sarah Dennis at the College’s Beeston Campus.

A large number of staff and students were there to celebrate the students’ hard work and success, which is even more commendable considering they are often living outside their home country for the first time, whilst studying in a new educational environment.

International Foundation courses are offered in subjects such as Architecture, Science and Psychology, and provide international students with the knowledge they need to progress on to Universities around the country. EFL courses are available for all language abilities, and allow both home and international students to improve their English skills and progress on to further college courses.

For further information about the 100s of courses on offer at Castle College, please call 0845 845 0500 or go to the courses pages of this website.
